Jakarta City Council agreed on the General Policy of the City Budget and the Draft Priority Ceiling of the Temporary Budget (KUA-PPAS) of the 2025 City Budget by Rp 91.1 trillion through the discussions in each Commission that were brought to Budget Agency (Banggar) Meeting.

Jakarta City Council Chairman Khoirudin led the budgetary meeting at the Plenary Meeting Room, Jakarta City Council Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta.

Khoirudin said Rp 91.1 trillion City Budget KUA-PPAS consists of a initial draft Rp 84.32 trillion and adjustment to spending allocation for additional transfer revenue Rp 6.8 trillion.

"There is a change that cause our ceiling is more than Rp 91 trillion. There is a Revenue Sharing Fund from the central government and it must be included," he said, Monday (10/28).

Khoirudin added the signing of the Joint Memorandum of Understanding between Legislative and Executive will be carried out on November 1. Then it will be continued by a meeting regarding the detailed discussion of the Draft Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBD) for the 2025 fiscal year.

"The upper ceiling limit has ben set and later we will include it in the spending during the discussion of RAPBD after the signing of the KUA-PPAS MoU. Then the detailed spending will be explained in the RAPBD meeting with the Commission," he added.

Khoirudin continued the RAPBD's detail can still be added or reduced in Commission meetings.
